Prestons is located downstairs of the Coast Coal Harbour in Vancouver.

We managed to eat only breakfast for every day that we were in Vancouver, although their dinner menu looked really interesting as well.

We’ve tried almost all the items in the breakfast menu:

Bacon with fried eggs and toast

As you can see, the bacon was nice and crispy, the eggs were moist, and the buttered toast was yummy.

Blueberry pancakes with maple syrup

The pancakes had blueberry in it, and so did the butter. And it came with real delicious maple syrup.

Omelette with ham, cheese and tomato, with Yukon Gold potatoes on the side

The omelette was nice and crispy around the outside, and moist and delicious on the inside. The Yukon Gold potatoes were sweeter than the other varieties of potatoes, with a chocolatey flavour.

French toast with strawberies and maple syrup

The french toast was alright, not one of the best I’ve had, but at least it wasn’t soggy. Maple syrup goes well with it though …

Eggs benedict with Yukon Gold potatoes

One of my favorite breakfast selection, the smoked salmon was served on a sourdough, and the hollandaise sauce was topped off with salmon roe. Delicious!

The lunch and dinner menu looked really good as well, pity we didn’t get a chance to try it. Maybe next time …
