Our eyes were initially drawn to the Shabu-shabu setup at the Wholefoods Market Restaurant, and we vowed to return to try it out next time.
We headed to the Sushi Bar and sat near the large windows.
We ordered a salmon platter and a eel platter to share …

The sushi rice was a little soggier than what I was used to, but at least it wasn’t dry and crunchy (like Yo! Sushi). The sushi was freshly assembled as well. We had a seaweed salad and miso soup for our sides — they tasted very natural, not overly salty unlike most other places.
The salmon tasted fresh, and the eel was tasty.
We even managed to fit in a dessert each … I had a tapioca milk while MOH had matcha ice cream.

The staff was attentive, but I thought the food preparation was not as careful as at a real Japanese restaurant. The prices were also a bit on the steep side.
