We woke up earlyish, cleaned out our cabin, took some happy snaps, and checked out — so we could head to Yosemite Village for our Yosemite Valley Floor Tour.

We bought tickets and then settled for some food at the village canteen … nothing exciting (NB not many good dining options in the Village!). And then we were soon off on our tram for our two-hour tour …

It was cold and windy onboard the tram, and it stopped us at various scenic points on the tour … We’d already been to some of stops ourselves, but they found us some pretty good ones …

When the tour was over we headed back to the village to have a look at the Ansel Adams Gallery before finally deciding to continue our journey onwards, to LA, first, stopping my Mariposa Grove again, so that Ange and Monks may have a look.
