We checked out of our hotel, and got them to hold our luggage while we explored Vancouver one last time. We walked towards Grandville Island and caught a ferry over from the north.

The Markets was bustling with people, and pigeons. There were lots of food stalls, both fresh and cooked. We had some coffee, and then some soup from the Stock Market.

Later in the afternoon, we caught the ferry back the north and walked back to the hotel, picked up our stuff and caught a cab to Vancouver Pacific Central railway station to catch our Amtrak Cascade to Seattle.

The station was pretty small, and the only food option there was a McDonalds (which I didn’t let Muffin get) :P So we queued up for our tickets, and then queued up again to check in.

Onboard, I ate a roast beef sandwich …

The train stopped somewhere near the border to let in some beefy looking border patrol guys.

We arrived at a very soggy Seattle at 10pm that night …
