We had dinner at the Hub Baja Grill.

Everyone at the restaurant seemed to be enjoying some alcoholic beverage of some sort, so Muffin ordered a Margarita, while I stuck to Mojito.

The restaurant was a little too lively (live entertainers were singing at the other end of the restaurant) and darker than I liked (I like to be able to see what I’m eating … and my photos end up looking bad in dimly lit settings) but the food was good, although a little on the oily side.

For starters, we shared the Screaming Camarones — the prawns were nice and crunchy, though the chilli sauce was a little too much for me.

For mains Muffin had the Baja Grouper which was delicious …

Baja Grouper: local grouper with lobster thermador sauce, mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus

Meanwhile I had ordered the Baja Fish Taco … which was delicious, and very filling.

When we got back to our accommodation, I noticed that my abdomen was covered in hives — probably from some sort of food colouring in Muffin’s margarita :(
