Hong Kong
Fresh air in HK??
We had an unexciting breakfast downstairs in the hotel (I had porridge oats and Muffin some baked beans) we headed to Jason's apartment, then caught the bus to Kadoorie Farm & Botanic Garden with Jason's mum. It was pretty educational -- we saw herbs, and veges, breathed some fresh air, gawked at wild boars ...
Wild boars ... worth little experience points
The pork belly's dragging on the ground!
Ahh the great outdoors ...
In quiet contemplation
A flamingo ... that happened to be pink
After lazing about back in Jason's apartment, we later caught a cab into town for dinner in a Hutong where I had the best meal of my life!
Muffin & Jason
I broke a chopstick ...
Yes, yes, so I broke a chopstick ... hope it wasn't ivory or something ...
After that we went for a walk and took some cheesy night shots ...
Eating and shopping
Jason brought us to his favorite "dirty" noodles shop, where the queues were long and the crowds were all single-mindedly focused on getting their hands on the noodles. The location was very bare, just a few tables and chairs scattered about -- the seats probably don't get a chance to get cold -- as soon as one person has finished slurping down their noodles, the person hovering behind them would've swooped down to claim their place, and the proprieter would give the table a quick wipe-down so the next guy can get about his business.
Choose your toppings and noodles ...
After lunch we headed to Bossini and picked up 9 pieces of smart-casual clothing for only 921HKD (thanks to staff prices!) which is approximately £60. Bought more underwear too :B
