The kids water play area in the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre was only open from 3pm during winter so it was pretty empty when we got there. Families with young children appeared about an hour later, when school had ended for the day. We didn’t stay too long as we got pretty cold and the little dude’s lips started turning purple. It started to get pretty busy around 4pm when school ended for the local kids.

Whole place to ourselves, almost

The water play equipment was closed on the day, but the “Lazy River” was still running.

The on-site cafe was also closed when we were there.

We liked that there were family changerooms.
