L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon, MGM Grand, Las Vegas NV

This was our first degustation event!

We ordered the US$148 tasting menu and got:

Foie gras parfait with port wine and parmesan foam

King crab on a turnip disc with a sweet and sour sauce

Scallop cooked with seaweed butter

White onion tart with smoked bacon and asparagus

Duck foie gras with confit quince and yuzu

Dover sole filet, baby leek with ginger

 

This was Muffin's main ...

French-style hangar steak with shallots and served with mashed potatoes

 

And this was mine ...

Free-range quail stuffed with foie gras and served with truffled-mashed potatoes

Grapefruit infused with Prosecco with lychee sorbet

 

... and not to mentioned with pop rocks around the rim and rice crispies below the sorbet!

Chocolate cake with espresso ice cream

 

And to finish off ... a cappucino!

This has got to be one of the best dining experience I've ever had!
