Tsunami Japanese Restaurant , 5-7 Voltaire Road, Clapham SW4 6DQ, London

We showed up on time for our reservation and was seated and ready to order. By then the restaurant was pretty busy.

Seafood Toban

As we were starving we ordered quite a bit of stuff ... our usual stock standard Japanese dishes: tempura, agedashi tofu, eggplants, mixed sushi as well as some restaurant specialties such as the toban, crab rolls and beef steak.

The stock standard Japanese stuff was standard. Tempura was fresh, agedashi tofo was ok, but not the best. The seafood toban was tasty but otherwise pretty unexciting ... :P

We even managed to fit in dessert -- and we ordered a dessert platter consisting of green tea and sesame ice cream (the green tea was nice and strong, the way I like it)

The bill came up to just over £100 for three of us -- which is very pricey considering we could have had the same dishes elsewhere for much, much less.
