Whole Foods Market
Whole Foods Market , 63–97 Kensington High Street, London
I wasn't entirely impressed by the food from the upstairs of Whole Foods Market ...
First of all it looked a little like the food courts back home ... except the food was much more pricier.
Muffin picked out some food from what looks like a kebab shop (except smelling a little less greasier and having a nice selection of meze platters, and no chips) ...
Lamb and tabouleh
Meanwhile I had a hankering for sushi which I needed to be fulfilled no matter WHERE I was ... so I headed to the sushi counter and picked out some prepacked sushi and seaweed ... The sushi was nothing to write home about. In fact, it's a disappointment -- the sushi rice was dry and hard, and one piece of salmon in my sushi tasted a little off ... The seaweed didn't taste of much either ..

Muffin ordered some crepes -- apple and pecan with maple syrup ... they were OK I guess, but not as exciting as the crepes in Cafe Breton or even in Paris.

What we SHOULD have done, was to save our appetites for the food in the main markets downstairs which looked so much more appealing and there was a much greater choice too. We managed to scab free samples of food ranging from a very tasty paela, to mussels, to expensive ham. Muffin bought £9.90 for 50 grams of some kinda ham ...
By the way, best coffee in London ... is RIGHT HERE.
