Happen to be in Soho but don't really feel like deep fried, sweet and sour or something that's been hanging in front of the shopfront window all day?

Hummus Brothers offers an alternative that is both healthy and tasty. We ordered the stewed mushrooms, stewed beef, tabouleh and mexican hummus (from the specials menu). I think we'll stick to the regular menu next time -- we weren't too impressed by the mexican hummus ...

 

We unanimously agreed that the chunky beef was the best dish that night.

We had nice drinks as well -- hot spiced apple juice, and mint and ginger lemonade. Somehow, I managed to fit in a dessert called malabi as well (in my excitement I forgot to take a photo ...). They threw in 3 glasses of mint tea on the house as well. Is nice!

NB: Hummus is made from tahini and chickpeas.
