Belgo Centraal, Covent Garden, London

There was a fantastically long queue at Belgo Centraal -- a good sign! While waiting, we were shown to the bar, where we ordered a strawberry beer, and a passionfruit and mango beer -- all superbly delish! If all beers were like this, I wouldn't mind drinking more of it!

We were finally shown to our table by our waiter (in monk garb!) and we ordered 3 different 1kg pots of mussels (Thai green, white wine and garlic, and tomato), half a spit roast duck, a lobster, and some braised beef. Everything seemed to come with chips ...

 

As we were in a Belgian restaurant, I HAD to order the waffles ... Fifi's creme brulee was scrumptious too!

 

I had just chosen Belgo at random, and it's certainly well worth coming back for again and again! It's certainly a good location for good drinks, good food and good company.
