Oat Waffles with Maple Syrup


Waffles made with oats instead of flour. Adapted from Mornflake’s recipe to make exactly 4 waffles in my waffle maker.

Ingredients

100 gjumbo oats, blitzed in a blender
1 tspbaking powder
200 mlplant milk
15gCoconut oil (or any other oil)
45 gmaple syrup
1 tspvanilla essence

Instructions

  1. Turn on waffle maker
  2. Blitz the oats into flour, add baking powder and blitz to mix
  3. Combine all the wet ingredients in a large jug (milk, oil, maple syrup, vanilla essence)
  4. Slowly add in the flour and combine. Leave for 10 minutes to thicken.
  5. Grease waffle maker and cook the waffle batter for about 7 minutes, turning halfway.
