Oat Waffles with Maple Syrup
Waffles made with oats instead of flour. Adapted from Mornflakeās recipe to make exactly 4 waffles in my waffle maker.
Ingredients
100 g | jumbo oats, blitzed in a blender |
1 tsp | baking powder |
200 ml | plant milk |
15g | Coconut oil (or any other oil) |
45 g | maple syrup |
1 tsp | vanilla essence |
Instructions
- Turn on waffle maker
- Blitz the oats into flour, add baking powder and blitz to mix
- Combine all the wet ingredients in a large jug (milk, oil, maple syrup, vanilla essence)
- Slowly add in the flour and combine. Leave for 10 minutes to thicken.
- Grease waffle maker and cook the waffle batter for about 7 minutes, turning halfway.
