Brick Lane for Curry
Sunday, 28 September 2008
It was Muffin's birthday and he wanted curry ... so we went! Everyone was queued up at Sweet & Spicy for their kebab-like
rolls ... so we ordered one -- tasty, but very oily.
De/Vision @ Purple Turtle Camden
Sunday, 21 September 2008
We headed to the Purple Turtle in near Mornington Crescent for the De/Vision concert -- a friendly bouncer let us in (!!)
to what
must be the smallest venue we've ever been to! It was a very small and intimate gig, with probably a hundred or so patrons
... I even
had a platform to stand on so I could see.
Echo & The Bunnymen @ Royal Albert Hall
Tuesday, 16 September 2008
We arrived late, but found out later that the Bunnymen were supporting themselves so we missed out! D'oh ...
We had really good seats on Tier 2, which had little private boxes that seats 4 ppl. And I could see really well from where
we
were.
Thames Festival (Carnival)
Sunday, 14 September 2008
We went back to the festival the next day to see the carnival ... it was pretty lame but there were a few good floats tho.
Later that night we had dinner at
Las Iguanas which had delicious Latin food. I
enjoyed my platter with free fireworks and free entertainment in the form of a birthday celebration at the table next to us
(with an
Italian tenor and his musicians singing).
Thames Festival (Feast On The Bridge)

Thames Festival crowds
Buffet table on the bridge
I read that there was gonna be a Feast on the Bridge, so we peddled our way to Southwark Bridge ...
A long buffet table was set up with plenty of seats, so we went to look for food ...
We found a roast lamb and pork stall and bought a roast pork sandwich and a lamb wrap. They were DELICIOUS. Vegetarians don't
know
what they're missing out on!
Pork still roasting away
Carving up the meat!
Digging into my messy but delicious lamb wrap
Phew!

Finally! It's been aaaages ... but I've finally finished my blog entry on our trip to
Japan
back in '05!
Eek!
Wednesday, 3 September 2008
The 3rd mouse was brave enough to come INTO the room with us still in it ... so we closed the door and attempted to trap it
using
the same method we trapped two of his predecessors ...
Houdini the Mouse
We were preparing to trap him when suddenly ... we couldn't find him anymore! And we couldn't find where he could've esaped
from
either ...
Til' next time, Houdini!
