Wha -- 1/3rd of the year has gone!
Monday, 21 April 2008
I have no recollection of what I've been doing, besides what I've documented in this blog
so far ...
Too much work and Warcraft I reckon :|
And Spring seems to have been cancelled this year ... nothing's blooming yet, and I still
need to use the heater!
Added gig photos below ...
Emilie Autumn @ Carling Academy, Islington
Saturday, 19 April 2008
Was busy Warcrafting, so forgot to leave earlier ... the queue at Wagamama was long so we
didn't get to use my BOGOF coupon -- we went to Yo! Sushi next door instead (kinda like Sushi
Train) ... and dinner for two cost ... £40! That's more than half my weekly grocery
bill! >:(
We didn't get to see the support band (Muffin wanted to see them) and we couldn't get a
good spot for views ... so we just hung out the back ... Nevertheless, am glad camera has a
nice zoom function :B

Juno Reactor @ The Coronet Theatre
Friday, 18 April 2008
Hmm. The gigs at the Coronet were meant to go from 10pm to like ... 7am, but we didn't
have that kinda endurance, so we showed up to Elephant and Castle just before midnight.
The Coronet was quite spacious, and had another "root" upstairs that we
found as well. The layout was good, and the bar was located right at the back so that ppl who
like yammering throughout concerts can be out of earshot. It was actually COLD / well
ventilated in the venue (for once!) and I had to keep my coat on ...
There was someone selling some kinda red liquid in test tubes but I wasn't thirsty or
curious enough ...
We managed to catch Mike Maguire before Juno Reactor -- he was pretty good. But Juno
Reactor were GREAT. They had African singers / percussionists ... Indian dancers ... and an
excellent female vocalist.

Old hippies
Thursday, 17 April 2008
No, not us ... the hippies at Access All Areas, in Camden Town, where we picked up tickets
for Juno Reactor tomorrow. I think they're still not quite over Trance yet ...
Snowing ... in April??

We looked out the window when working today ... and saw this:
